LiT Summit 2024

Objective:
For the Latinas in Tech Summit 2024, themed “Her Tech, Her Future: Latinas Innovators in Tech,” our primary objective was to drive ticket sales by engaging both the community and corporate sponsors and recruiters. This two-day activation featured a hybrid format, with one day dedicated to in-person events and another day focused on virtual sessions. Our campaign aimed to highlight the contributions and innovations of Latinas in the tech industry, creating a platform for networking, professional development, and showcasing talent. We leveraged a multi-channel marketing approach, including targeted social media campaigns, personalized email outreach, and strategic partnerships with sponsors and community partners to maximize visibility and appeal. By emphasizing the unique value of the summit’s offerings, we successfully attracted a diverse audience of attendees, including tech professionals, aspiring technologists, and industry leaders.

“Over 1,800 registrants and generating $260K ticket sale revenue, not including corporate sponsorships.”
The Latinas in Tech Summit 2024 was a significant success, through various pricing strategies, including Early Bird sales, Regular Ticket sales, and a Flash Sale. We also partnered with 15 Latina tech content creators who promoted the event using unique discount codes.
In addition to ticket sales, we capitalized on the excitement around the event by offering a special LiT Summit Swag Box, which resulted in over $8,000 in sales before and during the summit.
The success of the event was bolstered by cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including a PR agency, a video production company, and an event design and production company.
The campaign not only increased ticket sales from previous year but also strengthened our relationships with corporate sponsors and recruiters, enhancing the overall impact and reach of the event.
